Superior Science is excited to announce the continuation of Girls Club, our student-run science club for girls and gender nonconforming individuals!

Girls Club takes place on the Lakehead University campus, and provides an opportunity for young girls to develop a fun outlook on science and technology, while building their skills and confidence as scientists!

Our instructors and volunteers will guide participants through exciting science activities, while making use of Lakehead’s many laboratories and learning facilities. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet with female mentors from the school and community to learn about the many applications of STEM in the real world.

The purpose of our Girls Club is to create a safe and positive space to show participants that science is for everyone, and that there are many areas of science to explore! For the upcoming 2024 year, we will be exploring fun topics in biology, chemistry, engineering, coding, technology and so more!
