Superior Science Micro Maker Camp 2017

Superior Science is offering a one day camp called the Micro Maker Camp*. These camps will be partnering with the Actua Maker Mobile. The Maker Mobile is an interactive classroom on wheels traveling across Canada from West to East, beginning in Victoria, British Columbia, heading right across to St. John's, Newfoundland over the course of 2017. In celebration of Canada's 150th anniversary, the Maker Mobile will enhance the Superior Science programming with special Innovation 150 Workshops! These workshops are designed to engage grade 5 to 8 youth in meaningful and enriching experiences to foster a nationwide culture of innovation while building the participants' capacity and confidence to create a better future for Canada. Maker Mobile workshops are made locally relevant through exposure to local innovators and innovations. Youth will design and build with sophisticated maker tools including 3D printers, laser cutters, micro-controllers, and block programming while they solve real-world challenges.

*Two different dates for the camp are June 29th and 30th 2017. Both camps are the same programming and to ensure equal opportunity for all Micro Maker Camp participants, please select either the 29th or the 30th during registration.

Should you have any questions regarding the Micro Maker camp please feel free to contact Nick or Ashley (Directors of Superior Science) by email: supersci@lakeheadu.ca or by phone: (807)-343-8403
