What is Superior Science?

Superior Science is a student-run, non-profit program that sparks children's interests in science, engineering and technology through fun, hands-on activities. Based at Lakehead University, Superior Science's philosophy lies in learning through hands-on and interactive experiences. Since 1999, this program has continued its goal of promoting awareness of science by offering a variety of outreach programs throughout Northwestern Ontario. Over 25 000 youth have been reached throughout Northwestern Ontario since Superior Science began over fifteen years ago!

Who is it for?

We offer camp programs for all youth in grades 1 through 8 and clubs for youth in grades 3 to 7. In everything we do, we aim to create inclusivepositive, and fun experiences that will bring out the inner scientist or engineer in anyone! Through our outreach programs, we also seek to engage youth who wouldn't normally participate in science programs.
